About Me
My name is Daniela Caradonna. Since I
was a young child I have always been interested in healing therapies
and alternative medicine.
As
an adult I was not happy with the idea that as part of the aging process people naturally get ill or develop chronic conditions such as arthritis. I decided I needed to learn how to stay healthy and heal myself and my family if needed.
I attended
courses in Reflexology, Aromatherapy and Indian Head massage and
qualified as a Reiki Practitioner, I also took a keen interest in
herbal medicine and nutrition. All of the therapies I took interest in
were very interesting and I feel they definitely have there place, however non made me passionate enough to take them
on as a lifelong journey of learning and evolving spiritually. I felt
that many therapies were too focused on their specific areas and not on
the rest of the body, mind, spirit or environment.
I
was
first introduced to Amatsu in 2000 and was immediately drawn by how
precise a balance was. This was a therapy that covered every aspect of
your life, gave good advice on how to stay healthy and worked from head
to toe inside and out (See The Godai). The advice was basically to look at my whole life and prevent illness rather than looking to cure it. This may seem like obvious advice, however I like many others really underestimated how harmful many things can be in your diet, lifestyle or even belief system.
I initially started treatments as a patient I was impressed at how quickly relief was felt from discomfort and pain.
I have been honored to have completed a three year course and qualified as an Amatsu practitioner under the great teachings and mentoring of Dennis Bartram one of the three Europeans granted teaching rights for Amatsu by Dr Masaaki Hatsumi. I have gained Anma, Seitai and Shinden qualifications.
I am a member of the Amatsu Therapy Association
.
and both a member and insured by The Complementary Therapy Association.
I currently run a busy part time clinic from my home in Saltburn by the sea, in the North East, on the following days:-
